LLM Web Classes
To assist prospective students in choosing an LLM, we've created web classes in which you can sample courses from our specialised LLMs.
In each web class you will get a brief introduction to the programme through theory (reading literature and cases) and lectures on programme topics, and you will also work on actual cases related to the specialised field. The web class is divided in 3 to 4 weeks and each week covers a different topic.
The first group of web classes for the 2026-2027 admissions round will run from November 3rd 2025 until November 30th 2025. There will be a second group of web classes that will run from February 2nd 2026 until March 1st 2026. And there will be a final group of web classes that will begin on March 23rd 2026 until April 19th 2026. *Please note dates may be subject to change, please confirm with the webclass administrators when registering.
After completing a web class, you will have a general idea what an LLM is like and how it is taught at the University of Groningen. This web class is conducted entirely in English, just like the LLM degree programme itself.
We currently offer web classes for the following LLM programmes:
-
Energy and Climate Law (4 weeks in duration)
-
Global Criminal Law (4 weeks in duration)
How to register?
You can register to particpate in any of our LLM Web Classes here.
