Career prospects

The LLM in Advanced European Union Law is designed to equip its graduates with expert knowledge and skills for careers in major law firms or as in-house lawyers, as well as at the European institutions, national governments, and policy-influencing bodies. The programme is also highly suitable for students interested in a career in academic research. Given the continuing and growing importance of EU law, both at European level and in the legal orders of the Member States, the demand for specialised EU lawyers remains strong and continues to rise.

'Civiel Effect' (for students with Dutch Law-degrees)

This LLM can qualify you for "civiel effect" in the Netherlands. To learn more with regards to the criteria for "civiel effect", please read here. The information is only available in Dutch since you need to be fluent in Dutch to practice law in the Netherlands.
