Short Biography Vygantas Malinauskas, LL.M.

Vygantas Malinauskas is PhD candidate at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas. Research topic: “Balance between human rights and public interest”. He, also, received licentiate degree in Catholic Theology at Catholic Theology Faculty at Vytautas Magnus University. Besides academic activities, he still is practicing lawyer. As a lawyer and a full member he participated in several parliamentary and governmental working groups and commissions created for drafting new legislation, implementation of international treatises and restitution of nationalized property. As an expert, he took part in numerous public debates, radio and television talk shows discussing policy matters in the field of human rights, public good, family law. He is author of several articles on various policy topics published in mainstream and specialized publications.
