Short Biography Prof.Dr. Davor Babić

Davor Babić is an Associate Professor of Private International Law at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law. He studied law at the University of Zagreb (LL.B.) and Central European University (LL.M). He earned a doctorate in law (dr. sc.) at the University of Zagreb. He was awarded research stays at T.M.C. Asser Institute, the Hague and at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. He taught a course on EU Private International Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and has also thought at several universites in Eastern Europe. He has published on various topics of private international law, comparative law and international arbitration. He is the executive editor of the Croatian Arbitration Yearbook.
