Season's greetings!

12 December 2018

The holidays are coming. And a new year awaits us, with opportunities to broaden our knowledge, celebrate curiosity and develop new insights. Our special University Christmas ornament (ball) was made by Royal Goedewaagen in Nieuw Buinen, a 400 year old company that prides itself in craftsmanship. The ornament is the product of a close collaboration between the University shop (I-Shop) and Royal Goedewaagen, and we proudly present the result of this to you in this video.

At the I-Shop at the Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat 19 you can also find other ceramics from Royal Goedewaagen, like for example a Delft blue statue of the Academy Building. You can buy licensed merchandise of the University of Groningen. We aim to offer a range of 100% sustainable items. Check the I-Shop website!

We wish you happy holidays!
