MBA students from Cyprus at UGBS last week for training and company visits

The University of Groningen Business School welcomed 22 MBA students from the University of Cyprus last week (June 11 - 15) to provide a training in the fields of International Marketing & Global Markets. The programme was designed by course coordinator dr. Liane Voerman and focused on expanding the theoretical principles of marketing to an international and global context. Together with prof.dr. Peter Leeflang and dr. Kilian McCarthy, the MBA students focused on the following topics: international marketing strategy & branding, the international marketing mix, and global markets.
The UGBS is pleased to contribute to this MBA programme with lecturers from the renowned marketing department of the University of Groningen. The UGBS offers several executive masters and programmes that support professionals in taking the next step in their career.
Company visits
The programme for the Cypriotic MBA students included company visits to FrankBV, Ophtec and Groningen Seaports, to discuss their strategies. The students worked in groups applying the theories and insights to actual cases and an individual assignment completed the course.
