Dimitry Kochenov: 'Grondleggers EU zijn er altijd vanuit gegaan dat lidstaten democratisch niet zouden afglijden'
Het plan om EU-steun op te schorten als een lidstaat inbreekt op de rechtsstaat, is een brisant onderdeel van het voorstel voor een nieuwe Europese meerjarenbegroting. Het FD vroeg een reactie aan Rem Korteweg van Instituut Clingendael, Martin Michelot van Europeum Institute for European Policy in Praag en Dimitry Kochenov, adjunct-hoogleraar Europees constitutioneel recht aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
