Sinterklaas helps the Voedselbank

05 November 2014

Sustainable Society would like to contribute to the Sinterklaas initiative of the Voedselbank Groningen for the approximately 450 children who must use the food bank. We help Sinterklaas to collect gifts for the children.

What is it all about?

  • The age category for the gifts is: boys and girls from 9-12.
  • For example: Lego, a game, a puzzle, color markers, a coloring book, making bracelets for girls, a football and other sports equipment.
  • The gifts do not have to be packed. Wrapping paper is very welcome too!
  • There is no need for stuffed animals. Toy guns and other toys in this category are not the type of toys they look for.

You can deliver the gifts directly to the Voedselbank. Another option is to drop off the presents at Sustainable Society. The address is: Nieuwe Kijk in 't Jatstraat 68 in Groningen. The deadline for this is November 26th. We will transport the toys to the Voedselbank for you.

If you want to bring the gifts yourself to the Voedselbank, this should be done by November 27th. The address is: Oosterhamrikkade ZZ 119 in Groningen (joint property with: Goud Goed and Praktijk Broens).

Will you join us to give these children a wonderful Sinterklaas?
