Title: Dirac structures and Dirac brackets
Abstract:
It is known that the original motivation for Dirac structures is related to the Dirac theory of constraints. In this talk I will show that this theory can be generalized to include new cases of physical interest, beyond constrained Hamiltonian systems. I will discuss the role of the Dirac brackets in this more general situation.
