Digital version of annual report on research involving experiments on animals
The annual report 2013 (in Dutch) on research involving experiments on animals at the University of Groningen and the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) was published today. This is the first time that a digital version of this report has been published. It takes the form of a website. The Central Animal Facility (CDP) and the Faculty Department of Animal Care (FDD) of the University of Groningen and the UMCG are both keen to issue pro-active, transparent information about the visions and policies regarding experiments involving animals, and the results obtained during the past year. The annual report is a combination of personal interviews with researchers and factual information about the results achieved in 2013. The website is clearly laid out and user-friendly for tablets and smartphones. The theme of the annual report fits in with the University’s anniversary celebrations: past, present and future.
