The smartest cells come from Groningen
In Boston this weekend, a special ‘sprint’ race for cells was won by a team of cell biologists from the University of Groningen. The cells in their ‘stable’ were able to combine speed and cunning in such a way that they crossed the finish first. The entertaining race also had a serious scientific aim, which is why both the Wall Street Journal and Nature published on the event in the run-up.
