Unifocus: Jacobus Cornelius Kapteyn
The University of Groningen is celebrating its 400th anniversary in 2014. This will be celebrated (15 May – 15 June 2014) with a festive programme, with the theme For Infinity. What makes the University of Groningen what it is today: a teaching and research institute of stature? Which people, ideas and events in the past played a role? Someone who should certainly be commemorated is Jacobus Cornelius Kapteyn, professor of Astronomy (1851-1922).
Unifocus is the University of Groningen's online video magazine. It is published about 30 times a year to keep you up-to-date with current affairs in the fields of teaching, research and valorization.
