On Friday, November 1, 2013 the collaboration between the Faculty of Spatial Sciences in Groningen and the Institute of Public Administration of Nanjing Agricultural University in China was endorsed. The agreement, signed by the deans of both institutions, was exchanged during a visit by Prof. Dirk Strijker at Nanjing Agricultural University. The agreement simplifies the exchange of students. It also makes it easier for PhD students and staff to do research at the partner university and simplifies submitting joint applications for research projects.
The agreement is a result of a long established relationship between both institutes. A new joint research project is being set up.
