20 August 2013

Prof. Dimitry Kochenov (EU Constitutional Law), will host an international scholarly conference on EU Citizenship Law "The Right to Have WHAT Rights?" at the University of Oslo on 13-14 September this year.

The event is co-organised with Dr Anja Wiesbrock and will unite leading authorities in this field of law to discuss the long-term implications of the EU citizenship status. Interested colleagues are invited to attend (free, registration required). The discussion document behind the conference appeared as an article in the European Law Journal this summer. (

It is the second conference organised by Prof. Kochenov this year, following the success of the event on the "Principle of Good Neighbourly Relations in EU Law" held in Groningen in March.
The event is co-sponsored by the University of Oslo, Norwegian Migration Service and the Department of European and Economic Law, Groningen.
