NL4Talents, Holland alumni and career forum for international students
This year, Nuffic hosts the event NL4Talents, Holland alumni and career forum for international students, for talented international students in the Netherlands.
The first edition of this new annual event, will take place on 23 February 2013 in the Fokker Terminal in The Hague.
Why?
Among international students there is a growing interest in the possibilities of doing research or taking up a job in the Netherlands. They want to connect with relevant Dutch networks and agencies. This ties into the Netherlands' objective to strengthen its knowledge economy by holding on to talented Holland alumni.
There will be specific workshops for students who will return to their home country after their studies in the Netherlands, including NFP students, Erasmus Mundus students and Worldbank fellows. These workshops are aimed at strengthening capacities and qualities that contribute to a successful return to, and capacity building of, their organisation and country.
NL4Talents will be the new forum for retaining the connection between talented international students and the Netherlands, whether they stay here or in their home country.
For whom?
During the event 1,000 students who are in the final phase of their bachelor’s, master’s or PhD studies will have the opportunity to explore how they can stay connected to the Netherlands after their studies.
NL4Talents is aimed at talented international students who are interested in:
- working in the Netherlands after their studies;
- doing research in the Netherlands after their studies;
- hearing what the Holland Alumni network offers after their studies in the Netherlands; and
- finding networks and agencies relevant to them.
