PhD ceremony: Mr. K.W. Mui, 16.15 uur, Martinikerk, Grote Markt, Groningen

Dissertation: Atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis. From causal to incidental but not innocent

Promotor(s): prof. G.J. Navis

Faculty: Medical Sciences

The studies illustrate the changing perspective on the role of the stenosis as such, that has traditionally been regarded as a causal factor of renovascular hypertension, with apparently clear causal intervention possibilities for hypertension and renal function.
