Science at Cultural Sunday

12 September 2012

It’s Cultural Sunday again this weekend in Groningen. The theme at Het Paleis on 16 September is ‘Dance and Movement’. Science is also on the menu, and Science LinX is organizing several activities. You can find the full programme (in Dutch only) on the website of Het Paleis. There will be spectacular experiments each hour: a robot that mimics your movements, a chemical clock that registers the movement of time and a high-speed camera that distorts your movements.

The Groningen FabLab will also be there: you will be able to help kinetic artist Kees Klaassen build a ‘snakelike artbol’.

The activities are between 1 and 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Location: Het Paleis, Boterdiep 111 (on the corner of the Bloemsingel)
