Prof Dr Poppema made Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea

Prof Dr Sibrand Poppema, President of the University of Groningen, was appointed Honorary Consul of the Rebpublic of Korea. His duties include, but are not limited to, promoting trade and friendship between the people of the Netherlands and the Republic of Korea.
This month, Prof Dr Poppema was in Korea promoting the University of Groningen and signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Korean universities to increase student exchanges.
