Brigit Toebes: 'Increase in sex-selective abortions in UK creates tension with human rights and ethical principles'

Newspapers have reported and discussed the fact that sex selective abortions are increasingly taking place in British hospitals and clinics. Lecturer in International Law Dr Brigit Toebes argues that there are some compelling arguments against allowing for sex selective abortions carried out for social reasons, on BMJ Journal on March 6, 2012.
