Elliptic Delsarte Surfaces
Abstract:
In this talk we introduce elliptic curves.
These are curves with a group structure on the points, and one is interested in the size of this group.
We define these curves over the field of rational function in a variable t and explain how this relates to surfaces.
A particular kind of elliptic surface for which we can compute this group size are elliptic Delsarte surfaces.
We present a classification of these surfaces.
In doing so we find the elliptic surfaces with the maximal known size.

Nationale Wetenschapsagenda subsidie voor circulaire biogebaseerde materialen
Prof. dr. Anastasiia Krushynska ontvangt een Nationale Wetenschapsagenda (NWA) subsidie van EUR 600.000 om innovatieve technologieën te helpen ontwikkelen voor het omzetten van laagwaardig organisch afval in duurzame, recyclebare materialen.
