Ranking list of most influential supervisory directors calculated by FEB researchers
Peter Elverding is the new number 1 on the list of the 50 most influential supervisory directors in the Netherlands. This has been revealed by calculations performed by Dr Kees van Veen of the Corporate Governance Insight Center of the Faculty of Economics and Business. For the third year in a row, this ranking list has been compiled for Managementscope, which also publishes it.
The list comprises a ranking of all the supervisory directors of the 100 largest Dutch enterprises. Weights were allocated to the positions on various supervisory boards and also to the positions the supervisory director occupies within a Supervisory Board.
The most significant change compared to last year is a new number 1. For seven years in a row, the list was headed by Kees van Lede (ex-CEO of Akzo Nobel). This year the number 1 position has been taken over by Peter Elverding (ex-CEO of DSM). In second place with a minimal difference is Jeroen van der Veer (ex-Shell top man).
