'Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs 2010' confirms quality of Groningen degree programmes in Theology and Religious Studies as the best in the Netherlands

17 December 2009

Of all the theology and religious studies programmes in the Netherlands, those in Groningen are the best, according to Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs 2010 , the evaluation guide to Dutch universities and institutions of higher education.  The degree programmes scored positively on all six of the assessed points. The criteria ‘Lecturers, lectures’ and ‘Organization’ stand out in particular with two extra plusses; ‘Facilities’ and the overall assessment even achieve three plusses.

A relatively high number of part-time students follow programmes in theology and religious studies. These degree programmes have roughly the same scores as their full-time equivalents. ‘Groningen is doing very well indeed’, says the Guide about these part-time degree programmes.
