Reaccreditation for RUG Management and Organization programmes
This week the Faculty of Management and Organization was officially notified that the NVAO (Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organization) has adopted the positive conclusions of the visitation committee and has decided to reaccredit all its degree programmes for the period 2008-2014.
The accreditation of all Business Studies programmes in the Netherlands ends on 31 December 2007. A reaccreditation programme was therefore initiated by the NVAO in the autumn of 2005. In spring 2006, QANU, an independent organization that assesses academic teaching and research, examined all the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes of the Faculty of Management and Organization of the University of Groningen on behalf of the NVAO.
Unequivocally satisfied
The committee that conducted the assessment was unequivocally satisfied with the quality of the Groningen degree programmes. This applies equally to the content of the programmes, the facilities for students and the internal quality monitoring. This positive result has justified the numerous efforts towards improvement undertaken by the Faculty in the past few years.
