1000th gift by Mr. Jan Noorlandt
On 22 November 2018, Mr. Jan Noorlandt came to the University Library to personally hand over his 1000th gift to the library: a beautifully illustrated 1927 edition of the book 'Wout de scheepsjongen' by W.G. van de Hulst. On behalf of the Special Collections department, curator Alisa van de Haar received the book.
Mr. Noorlandt's gifts are mostly in the fields of theology and 'Groningana'. There were also some gifst for Tresoar in Leeuwarden; these were handed over to Jacob van Sluis.
