New JTS Scholars announced
For the second round of the JTS Scholarship, four new scholars have been selected. The JTS Scholar Programme, that started on 1 January 2025, aims to build a strong and lasting collaboration with researchers. These researchers will serve as ambassadors for the school, helping to strengthen its mission through meaningful collaboration and engagement.
New JTS Scholars
The following UG researchers are appointed as JTS Scholars:

About the JTS Scholars
The scholars represent a variety of disciplines and are committed to advancing interdisciplinary collaboration, both within the university and with societal partners. Over the next years, they will work closely with the JTS to:

Share knowledge and foster collaboration;

Organise interdisciplinary activities and events; and

Support and participate in research projects that connect academia with society.

The programme is aimed at researchers at the University of Groningen, from postdocs to professors. In the first round, ten Scholars joined the JTS, in the second round there are four. More Scholars are admitted every six months. For more details about the programme, visit JTS Scholar Programme.
