Join the Digital Inclusion Network!

In The Netherlands, an estimated number of 5 million people are currently struggling to participate in our increasingly digitizing society and are therefore at risk of being socially excluded.
The purpose of the Digital Inclusion Network, embedded in the new Jantina Tammes School of Digital Society, Technology and AI, is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between UG researchers to address this major societal challenge from multiple perspectives.
The Digital Inclusion network aims to:
-
Strengthen interdisciplinary research collaborations within the UG between researchers from different faculties via joint research initiatives, pilot projects and grant applications
-
Connect societal partners and researchers for more research-driven digital literacy or inclusion interventions, for instance by joint projects with schools, libraries, governments, local companies, and so forth.
-
Increase the digital literacy of citizens via educational initiatives geared towards the general public
