Renovation of the bus interchange Zernike as of 19 May

11 May 2021

The bus interchange Zernike will be renewed as part of the Upgrade Zernikelaan. A design has been made that can accommodate six buses. The transition to electric driving in the coming years is also taken into account. The work will be carried out by contractor Oosterhof Holman and will start on 19 May. It is expected that the new bus interchange will be in use by 26 July 2021.

The work consists of removing the old asphalt, paving the stops and installing new asphalt on the carriageways. Road traffic has normal transit and Qbuzz is creating two replacement stops near the bus junction for the buses.
