WarmteStad closes section Zernikelaan (near Pondematen) between 9-16 March
From Monday 9 March, the Zernikelaan between the Pondematen and Professor Uilkensweg will be closed for motorized traffic. The blockage is made by WarmteStad and is necessary to make the connection from the data centres to the newly built, heating plant at the Pondematen. To this end, the pipes will be laid under the road surface of the Zernikelaan. The road surface will be removed and repaired after the pipes have been laid.
Motorized traffic will be diverted. For cyclists and pedestrians, ramps are placed so that the road remains accessible to them.
The closure is expected to take a week. > Read more
