Demolition basement and foundation 5117 and 5118

13 March 2025

The demolition of building sections 5117 and 5118 of Nijenborgh 4 is in full swing. From Monday 24 March through Friday 16 May, this demolition work will intensify. This is because the foundation and basement will be demolished. This will cause more vibrations and noise pollution. The debris must also be removed, which means that there will be considerably more truck traffic on the Zernike Campus during these weeks. Work will take place on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Traffic controllers will be deployed at the cycle path near the porter’s lodge of the campus to keep everything on track.

We understand that you may be inconvenienced by the demolition work. We try to keep inconvenience to a minimum, but unfortunately this cannot always be avoided. We ask for your understanding.
