Networking event for Turkish women in academics and entrepreneurs

On 2 September, Basak Bilecen co-hosted a networking event with Lawyer Dijle Simsek for Turkish women academics and entrepreneurs from across the Netherlands, attended by Fatma Ceren Yazgan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Netherlands. The event focused on creating new connections between academia and entrepreneurship and exploring opportunities for future collaboration. Basak Bilecen and her postdoctoral researcher, Gamze Alkan also shared findings from their TÜBİTAK-funded study on Turkish transnational entrepreneurs in the Netherlands.
