Symposium "Sociale Innovatie en de Energietransitie", April 3 2017, TU Delft

Members of the research team and the valorisation panel attended the Symposium "Sociale Innovatie en de Energietransitie" organized by the Delft Energy Initiative. Main aim of the symposium was to discuss how insights from engineering, social, and behavioural sciences may facilitate the implementation of energy solutions. Research team members Nicole Huijts and Goda Perlaviciute presented work related to the project. Goda Perlaviciute discussed key drivers of public acceptability of energy sources, systems, and policies. Nicole Huijts focused on the role of emotions on the acceptability of energy innovations, especially highlighting underlying values and fairness perceptions.
