Goda Perlaviciute appointed associate professor
Goda Perlaviciute has been promoted to adjunct professor at the UG since 1 September 2022. The field of the chair is Public acceptability of sustainable transitions.

Our society is facing climate change and its disastrous consequences. According to Goda, we need to transition towards more sustainable relationships between humans and the environment. Sustainable transitions include, among others, implementation of sustainable technologies, infrastructures, institutions, and policies. Such changes are not possible if there is not enough public support. Therefore, she studies factors that influence public acceptability of sustainable transitions.
Her special focus now is on public acceptability of the sustainable energy transition and ways to better engage the public in energy decision-making.
