Coaches

During the Master programme Industrial and Organizational Psychology students may take a course in coaching. This course focuses on the application of psychological theories during the coaching process. The practising of coaching skills and the execution of a coaching trajectory are important parts of the course. After completion of the course, there appears to be a demand for more practical experience. This is possible on a voluntary basis at the Coach Workplace. You can register by completing the registration form.

A coach who is asked to coach a student and who accepts the assignment, commits him- or herself to a trajectory by filling out a contract. After completion of each project, the coach will receive a certificate of participation. Coaches who want to make use of the Coach Workplace may be asked to participate in research as well, and are required to participate in professionalizing activities such as peer review / supervision meetings. In those meetings, the focus will be on a reflection upon the coaching skills. The written consideration of personal skills by means of the writing of a reflection report at the end of each coaching trajectory is part of that, too.

Coaches can use the workplace for up to two years after completion of their studies.
