GEC Kick-off follow-up

The GEC Kick-off meeting held on October 25 was a success. Attended by more than 200 participants from the University of Groningen, polytechnic schools and universities, and companies and technological organizations, it offered an opportunity for researchers and innovation leaders to discuss future synergies. Among the highlights of the meeting were the keynote lectures of Prof Dr Bart van Wees , Spinoza award winner, member of the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials, and Dr Herry Nijhuis, Director of the STW, and the pitch of Prof Dr Iris Vis, Dean of Industry Relations at the University of Groningen.
