Study Association

A study association is an organization run by a team of students from the respective bachelor’s and master’s degree programme(s). The FSE study associations organize many activities for students, including introductory camps and monthly “borrels” (informal social gatherings, often with drinks), but also more serious events such as company visits or conferences. Study associations differ from the general student associations where the degree programme is irrelevant. And study associations do not have hazing rituals.

Please check the BSc. programme of your disicpline to find more information of Study Associations.

The student assistants of Bridging Science, part of the Master Science Education and Communication (SEC), organise events approximately every two months. From ‘gezellige’ pub quizzes and game nights in the Kroeg van Klaas, to more serious alumni talks, workshops and master evaluations. The student assistants try to enhance the experience of all master students by having fun together with fellow students and teachers and help you start building the network of your future career.

Our Master is remarkably diverse and broad, so our alumni end up in many different jobs: from a high school teacher to a science journalist, or communication officer. To explore all the possibilities after finishing our Master's, the program makes sure to invite recent graduates from time to time to share their alumni experiences.

We hope to see you at our introduction event!
