Welcome to the MSc Systems and Control!

On this website you can find all the information you need to optimally prepare yourself for the start of your master's degree programme. Take time to read all the information carefully. More programme-specific information can be found on the Student Portal (log in with your student number). The Student Portal is our digital study guide, and we expect that the students in our programme are familiar with the information on the Student Portal.

All master students that have not studied at the University of Groningen - Faculty of Science and Engineering before, are expected during the FSE Master's introduction . The presentation will take place on Friday 28 August from <INSERT TIME, BUILDING AND ROOM> (Zernike). During the presentation, you will be introduced to the faculty and our information systems.

If you have completed your bachelor's degree in Groningen, you will be familiar with most information of the Faculty introduction. We do urge you to check the Master Systems and Control page on the Student Portal (Study Info > Master > Systems and Control).

All prospective S&C students are invited to join the Welcome Meeting (lunch included) on Wednesday 2 September 2026, 12:00-13:00 in the Linnaeusborg room 5173.0055. Make sure to fill out this form on Tuesday 18 August 2026 at the latest if you want to enjoy a free lunch.
