Academic Advisor

Academic advisors assist students in finding solutions to any problem encountered while studying and provide information about the degree programme. They are here to help you find your way in and around your degree programme. The academic advisor is also available for assistance, in case you have questions about (the preparation for) your degree programme.

The Academic Advisor for the Biomedical Sciences master's degree programme is Lisette Klein . She will be personally available during your programme introduction, and can be contacted by email as well: Note that she is not available during the summer holidays, from 24 July to 15 August. If you encounter problems or have urgent questions during her absence, please first check the contact information below to find out how/where you can find a solution or answer.

  • For general questions about registration, tuition fee payment, etc, please contact UG's Information Services.
  • For questions about the introduction period, book sale, etc, please check the information package of your degree programme for relevant information and contact details.
  • International students: For questions on how to arrive in Groningen or on practical matters of living in Groningen, please use the information on this webpage.
  • International students: For questions about your admission status, immigration matters, insurances, etc, please contact the Immigration Service Desk, via Information Services.
  • International students: If you'd like to make use of a buddy upon arrival in Groningen, please visit ESN Groningen.
  • For any other questions, you may contact the Faculty's Student Administration Desk. PLEASE NOTE: Between July 15 and August 15, it may take longer than usual to answer phone calls or email, due to summer leave.
