Welcome to Industrial Engineering and Management!

We hope you enjoyed your summer holiday and that you are looking forward to meet your fellow first year IEM students. For most of you this will be a new start in various ways: start a study at the university of Groningen, initiating a study that might still be unfamiliar to you as it has no counterpart in secondary schools, and perhaps a new city to live in. You may experience some tension now that you are actually start taking courses, but we are sure you will find your way.
