HTSM set-up

After securing a position in the HTSM Honours Master, the programme begins with a kick-off meeting where industrial partners present various assignments. Multidisciplinary teams based on student preferences for a specific assignment are foremd.

Masterclasses enhance and complement your knowledge of the HTSM sector, covering topics such as your own field, other disciplines, product development, innovation, and engineering. These classes equip you and your team with the skills needed for your product development assignment.

Throughout the programme, you'll participate in personal development workshops to optimize your team skills.

Your team will develop a product proposal outlining how to solve the technical challenge at hand and plan for manufacturing and testing the product during the Summer School. During this intensive period, your team will manufacture, test, and finalize the proposed solution on-site at the industrial partners' research facilities.

The programme concludes with the Masterwork, where you demonstrate your ability to independently apply acquired knowledge and skills.
