Prof. Clara Mulder receives honorary doctorate from Umeå University, Sweden

In appreciation of her long standing collaboration with researchers at the Department of Geography and the Centre for Demographic and Aging Research of Umeå University in Sweden, professor of Demography, Clara Mulder, receives an honorary doctorate. Clara’s expertise in issues having to do with migration and family relationships as well as her extensive research network has been of great benefit to the researchers at Umeå University who work in cultural geography and population studies. Umeå University: “Through your visits as a guest researcher, guest lecturer and faculty opponent you have helped to establish not only a productive research bridge between our two universities, but even to a broader international arena.”
Clara Mulder will receive the title of Doctor Honoris Causa at the Annual Celebration Ceremony at Umeå University on October 19, 2019, where she will give a guest lecture.
