Green light for Mastertrack Tourism Geography and Planning in Leeuwarden
The Minister of Education has approved the application for the new Master 'Tourism Geography and Planning’. The programme is a specialisation of the Master Cultural Geography.
UCF Dean prof. Jouke de Vries is pleased with this result. “ This will be the first Master programme that will start in Leeuwarden under the flag of University of Groningen/Campus Fryslân. This is the first building block of a total of six new Master's and our Bachelor Global Responsibility and Leadership”.
The new Master programme Tourism Geography and Planning is an English Master track, developed by the Faculty of Spatial Sciences and Campus Fryslân, both from University of Groningen. FRW and Campus Fryslân collaborated with Stenden University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden.
Not only will the Master track Tourism Geography and Planning be offered in Leeuwarden, as of September 2017 the full Master programme Cultural Geography will move to Leeuwarden. Registration is possible from January 2017.
