    Ask your question

  • My result has not yet been registered in ProgressWWW, what's wrong?

The correction period for exams is ten working days. In case this period has expired and your results are still not visible on ProgressWWW, please contact the course instructor first. If this does not help, please click on "ask your question" below and fill in the web form, stating the course code and exam date.

Please note: different rules might apply for exams taken at a different faculty.

    Ask your question

  • I have passed an exam, but I would like to take a resit for a higher grade. Does the highest grade or the last grade count?

    The last grade counts.

    Ask your question

  • How do I apply for a certified transcript?

Select 'Ask your question' and indicate at 'question' what kind of transcript you would like to receive. Dutch or English - the number of copies - all results or only bachelor or only master results etc. Under normal circumstances, you can pick up your transcript at the Student Support Desk FSS the next day when presenting your student card.

    Ask your question

  • Can I view my exam after it has been marked?

A student has the right (including the right to take pictures of the completed exam papers) to inspect his/her marked work during a period of at least 20 days after the results of written examination have been made known at the Student Support Desk (room 0024)

    Ask your question

  • Do my credits from abroad count for my degree from the RuG?

If the coordinator of the exchange programme has approved the courses you took abroad, you can use these credits for your degree from the UG.

    Ask your question

  • Can I apply for an additional resit?

Generally not, since there is a regular exam and a resit for every course. In case of special circumstances contact the study advisor (study.advice.fss rug.nl). This predominantly applies to unforeseen and unpreventable personal circumstances. This includes illness, disability, or unpleasant family matter. If these circumstances occur, they should be mentioned to the study advisor as soon as possible. Lack of time and financial consequences are - on their own - no reason that an exception will be approved.

The following route should be followed when you suspect you might be eligible for an exception.
    1. Discuss with the study advisor. If they believe you are indeed eligible:
    2. Send an email to the Board of Examiners (boardofexaminers.fss@rug.nl). Explain the circumstances that might lead to you being an exception to the regular rules.

It is no use asking the lecturer; lecturers can only make an exception if they receive permission from the Board of Examiners.
