Distributed Coordination and Model Reduction of Multi-Agent Networks

We investigate robust cooperative control of multiple locally interacting dynamic nonlinear systems with uncertainties. We focus on a nonlinear extension of existing results about robust synchronization protocols, which is closely related to practical engineering applications, e.g. satellite swarms and mobile robotic sensor networks. In addition, we consider large-scale networks, where model reduction may first be needed to make the analysis and application of distributed control methods feasible. The model reduction methods for distributed control of networks will be developed further, and stability and error bounds will be investigated.
