Research in Future Prosperity and Sustainability

Future prosperity and sustainability is a multi-level concept, from individuals and their interactions to planetary boundaries and the global economy. At the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), research on this theme covers each of these levels. Future Prosperity and Sustainability can be defined in terms of in terms of four thematic pillars, as shown in the figure on the left. These pillars reflect current research activities, expertise, and interests within FEB.
In our research activities within the theme of future prosperity and sustainability, we aim to create connections between researchers from the Faculty of Economics and Business and researchers from other organizations. We strive to bring researchers together, so we can collaborate and collectively seize funding and publishing opportunities.
Within the theme, 5 research groups have been developed. Each group focuses on a specific topic:

The goals of these research groups are, for instance, jointly applying for grants, writing and submitting papers together and organizing workshops on these topics.
