Corporate Performance Project

What are the effects of Board differences on Corporate Performance?

Research on Top Management Team composition and its effects on corporate performance has a history of over 20 years. The idea is that how a Top Management Team is composed determines how Top Management Teams take decisions, what kind of decisions they make which would finally determine corporate performance. This so called `Upper Echelon? research is almost exclusively American oriented. We want to extend this line of research by applying the conceptual framework to Europe. Additionally, we will incorporate country differences as explanatory variable.
