Programme

The Impact Marketing Analyst course is a tailor-made program which gives a lot of space to the individual development of the experienced professional. The course consists of 12 Fridays and takes place (not during school holidays) from September to March.

Day 1 and 2 are planned consecutively on Friday and Saturday. The other 10 meetings are planned on Friday every two weeks in principle. All meetings take place at a central location in the Netherlands to limit the travel time of all participants.

Four Roles

The course is based on the vision that an analyst has to deal with different situations which require different roles each day. We distinguish between four roles: the operational, the advisory, the surveillance and the innovations role. The purpose of the course is to increase the impact of the analyst by recognizing which role in a particular situation is most applicable.

Planning

During the first three days (after the introduction of the course), attention is paid to the basic skills. Following, are the role-specific days in which all of the four roles will be attended to during two days. On the first day, of every set of role-specific days, attention will be paid to the content of the role and the methods of analysis, statistics and doing research. You practice with data sets or research questions from your own organization. In addition, you will discover with which skills you can make the role quickly and efficiently your own.

On the second role-specific day we discuss the experiences that participants have acquired and we pay to attention to your personal development. You will also receive feedback on home assignments and you will get lectures from guest speakers.
