I found the whole idea of the MSc very enticing

'Following my BSc in Economics and Management I started my MSc in Finance this year. I opted to specialize in Corporate Financial Management because I enjoy working with figures. The programme offers more than just statistics, though: it also looks at theoretical aspects, for example the structure and valuation of companies. You learn how industry really works. I found the whole idea very enticing. I could have opted for the MSc in Risk & Portfolio Management, but I decided it was too specialized. RPM is particularly interesting if you want to focus more on portfolio investments.

The MSc programme is a lot more demanding than the BSc: you need to work hard to do it in one year. What I particularly like is the fact that you can now specialize in the area that you are good at. The optional subjects allow you to decide which way to go. For example, I opted for a subject that revolves around analyzing banking risks. My ambition is to work in a particular financial post, and eventually I hope to find a job with a bank.'
