Successful Honours College Broadening Module Market for second-year Honours students!
On Monday, 1 December 2025, the Honours College Broadening Module Market took place in the Academy Building. It was an informative evening for second-year honours students to learn about the Broadening Modules, Schools, and Ateliers offered in the Honours Programme. The event started with a brief information session led by our Study Advisor, Suzanne Hack, and honours lecturer Dr Alain Dekker from the Down & Alzheimer’s course. Students then had the opportunity to interact with honours lecturers over tea and coffee. The Honours College team was also available to answer questions, and students mingled with members of the Honours College Social Association and the Honours Review.
Students described the event as informative, with a welcoming atmosphere and great interactions. Many appreciated meeting fellow honours students from other faculties and valued the interdisciplinary Broadening Modules, Schools, and Ateliers available to them. They also noted how helpful it was to see summaries of the different modules and how passionate the lecturers were when presenting. Overall, students expressed excitement about the many opportunities for personal and academic development beyond their own disciplines, finding the evening both engaging and inspiring.
