Honours students discover leadership qualities at FC Groningen’s talent event
FC Groningen is organizing a “Talents first” event in which participants from various companies come together to discuss and discover their own talent. Four Honours College students have been selected to take part in this event to develop leadership talent through pre-match inspiration and co-creation sessions.
Sjoerd Rooijakkers, an Honours student participating in the event:
“This project, organized by FC Groningen and Vos consultancy, helps us develop our own leadership qualities. As the event focuses on sports, various lectures have been organized with regards to sports leadership, motivation, and discipline. During so-called “co-creation” days we also learn about our personal ‘triggers’. This will likely help us in our future careers as we learn about what type of organization fits us best. Next to all this we will also enjoy a big sports day in which we get to play football on the field!”
