Online presentations for students looking to start their studies in 2024

Are you looking to start your studies in September 2024 and are you considering a numerus fixus (fixed quota) programme, a programme with a selection procedure? And have you not been able to attend a presentation on this during a Bachelor's Open Day in Groningen? From 11-15 December 2023 the University of Groningen organises a webinar week about numerus fixus programmes especially for you. Registration for this event opens 27 November 2023.

Registration for the Webinarweek Numerus Fixus Programmes is mandatory. Registration opens Monday 27 November 2023 from 10:00 (Dutch time).

Our numerus fixus programmes

Some programmes have a limited number of seats available each year. This is called a numerus fixus programme. In the event that more students apply than we have seats for, students will be selected by using a decentralised selection procedure.

At the University of Groningen you can apply for the following fixed quota programmes:

• Artificial Intelligence (175 seats)
• Biomedical Engineering (125 seats)
• Computing Science (200 seats)
• Geneeskunde Dutch & Medicine English (410 seats)
• International Business (550 seats)
• International Relations and International Organization (300 seats)
• Psychologie Dutch & Psychology English (600 seats)
• Tandheelkunde (in Dutch) (48 seats)

All the University of Groningen's fixed quota programmes use a decentralised selection procedure and have an earlier application deadline: 15 January 2024 (academic year 2024-2025).

Are you looking to start your studies in September 2025, then please be aware that the selection procedure for fixed quota programmes may change next year.
